Earthtime has played a pivotal role in strengthening Liberia’s environmental and social safeguards, particularly within the waste management sector. Working in partnership with the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC), the World Bank, and other international development agencies, Earthtime has delivered high-quality assessments, monitoring programs, and management plans that meet international best practice while actively engaging local communities. Through these projects, Earthtime has strengthened Liberia’s compliance with World Bank and African Development Bank (AfDB) environmental and social standards, safeguarded water resources and public health in communities surrounding waste management facilities and enabled responsible infrastructure development through tailored waste management strategies. At the same time, Earthtime has fostered stakeholder trust through meaningful community engagement and transparent, accountable reporting.
